I have recently installed Xubuntu 14.04 (Official Release) on two
computers. On one of them I did not use RAID and allowed automatic disk
partititioning; no boot error has been observed. For the second computer
I used the Minimal CD, installed two RAID0 devices (one for swap and one
for /) and Xubu
