I am trying the Ubuntu 8.04 Beta Version Installed early this month.
I have a Canon ip2200 printer and it doesn't work, nothing.
It seems that CUPS recognizes or detects de name of the printer but it won't
print, not even in grayscale.

The PC shutdown the video signal (i think) and there isn't way to
restart the system. Only can shutdown the computer trough power button
in cpu. Happens 3 or 5 times for day. Before install 2 mandatory updates
in Maverick everything goes ok.

i know is strange charles, but when transmission is not running, this
bug doesn't appear. The 626974 bug is about nvidia-96 and nvidia-173
driver. My PC have an integrated intel graphics chipset.

I'd like the kildclient package to be imported into Ubuntu (could this
initial import be called a sync?) It's in Debian unstable and etch. The
package is pretty much trivial, and I don't think any Ubuntu-specific
changes will be necessary.

Well, this is good news. Nevertheless, that fix does not hurt and makes
KildClient more robust. Not to mention that the new features in 2.7.0
aren't that bad. ;-)
Apparently KildClient 2.7.0 is in intrepid, even if packages.ubuntu.com
says otherwise (see #227986). Because of this and the glib fix,

Binary package hint: evolution
When I send an email using evolution the email sent does not go to Sent Item
from my Exchange Mailbox, it's go to local Sent Items and evolution does not
read my contacts global list from my Exchange mailbox.
