The latest version of Transmission in the Lucid repositiories (at-least

This is a very minor bug, but it definitely should be rolled out before

appealing to new users (although if it's fixed, they won't realize there
was ever a problem)... :)

On my system, with an ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard, I had to go into
the BIOS and disable bluetooth and wifi to restore any form of
networking what-so-ever. There was a crash of some sort reported in the
dmesg logs, and running ifconfig would hang my terminal. I managed to

It's fixed when using the linux-

Unfortunately, this new kernel breaks Unity because I'm using the
proprietary graphics driver for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 580. :( However,

It might get a little difficult to tell which version is which when
booting my system with all of these long names, but I'd be willing to
test out a few different kernels for you. I think it would be easier to
just pull a kernel with the bug fixed into 13.04, but I'll try out these
kernels anyways.
The bug exists in rc7, but unlike rc2, the Unity desktop actually works,
and my graphics display. In addition to the networking not working in
rc7, my mouse and keyboard inputs do not work once I reach the desktop.
In fact, I had to press the power button and wait 60 seconds for it to

I'm assuming that you want me to find the release candidate which
introduced the bug. I'm going to go ahead and test out rc6 ... rc3 and
post a report for each one. That should help you figure out which commit
was problematic.

rc3, rc4, rc5 and rc6 behave exactly like rc7, with graphics working and
no mouse/keyboard input what-so-ever. Not even alt-sysrq-b works. I can
tell that networking is still broken because the network monitor says
"Disconnected, you are offline.". I installed all of the packages for
each kernel. I
Oddly enough, after installing those other kernels, the behavior
exhibited by 3.7.05 as originally reported is now occurring with rc2. I
think there may be something wrong with my installation as my results
are inconsistent. Input devices, however, only work with rc2. They are
broken with anything
