I can confirm the issue. It is the same on my freshly installed Ubuntu
Karmic 9.10. I really like this feature, and on the Jaunty version, I
used it all the time. If it wasn't for the switch desktop mode, I
probably would've never tried the netbook remix. Hardware: Asus Eee PC
