Nothing shows up in the /var/crash folder at all when firefox crashes.
No .crash or anything. The links that cause this are javascript links
that create a new pop-up window when clicked. When a link is clicked,
the window sits for a few seconds and then goes gray because it is no
longer responding.
I ran
gdb firefox-bin pid
on firefox while it was in its "crashed" state right after clicking a link that
would use javascript to open a second pop-up window. I ran gdb a few times and

I have this same issue on a dell mini 9 with its inbuilt 3G modem. Pretty much
the same error.
After updating with the latest PPA i can now connect when in a 3G area, but if
the signal is marginal or GPRS it will not connect in Koala.

I can confirm the same symptoms on a Dell Mini9 using the inbuilt 3G
modem on Vodafone Australia.
I am running the UNR release with the latest updates. Ethernet, Wifi and
Bluetooth all work fine.

attached a syslog which shows that automount attempts to start
but fails because NetworkManager has not finished initializing the
network interface. My interfaces file is the same as the one posted by
heckheck.

Perhaps this is a 'default' configuration issue? My NetworkManager.conf
had managed=false and interfaces had no eth0 entry. I don't know for
sure whether this 'false' setting is an installation artifact or if I
changed it at some point.
The following changes appear to resolve my issue - automount
I can confirm that using 1.4.8 beta on both client and server seems to
fix this issue. I tried to upgrade just my windows machine first and it
didn't fix the issue but upgrading both to the beta worked great.

Today, I tried "apt-get remove libreoffice-gtk" and the slow open
persisted. Then reinstalled it.
I also ran update manager, haven't done this for about a month. That

directory going to be located? Is it in the root?

UPDATE: Upon purchasing this laptop, I immediately wiped the HD and
installed a fresh version of Win7, which worked fine. I then proceeded
to install Ubuntu 10.4, and haven't booted back to Win7 since. After
posting this bug report, I decided to investigate the audio hardware
further using SiSoft S
Do you need the fake raid enabled when I do this? I now have this server in
production with soft raid enabled and can not re enable fake raid due to
possible loss of data.

Th e problem is not users adding system paths, the problem is gnome-
panel allows no user overrides. The only way to modify the path is to
modify the global /etc/profile. Gnome-panel should be overridden by
~/.profile.

I should update, /etc/profile doesn't work. ~/.gnomerc does obliging my
concerns of modifying global env variables for local settings.
