Its odd but I am getting sound in some games through wine and some audio
in flash on firefox. any other event it crashes. The icon notification
goes out and back on as it crashes. daniel I dont understand your

I have all kinds of themes to use on gdm boot up, but can only use the
one supplied by ubuntu. I have been using ubuntu since 6.06 came out. I
have used everyone since. This is the first time I have been unhappy.
Please give us our control back. I just want to fix ubuntu up the way I
want it to be.
After last gdm update I can now boot into gdm without failsafe. I am
still getting a message that Plymouth could not be started.Dont know if
that is still a bug. Thanks

I have been using xscreensaver since gnome stopped using a screensaver.
I dont use lock screen,and it has had no effect on gnome shell that I
could determine.One way of doing it is to have screen saver in the start
menu. Xscreensaver works as a stand alone and would need no patch. The
way it is now

I have installed linux mint 12. Gnome 3 still does the same thing.
However in mate it installs it correctly. It looks like gnome 3 is using
the wrong xorg trident driver. I would expect it to be the same in both.

I can not believe I am the only one who has this problem. Trident sold a

the card that I am using is a apg/vga 3d video card. Vessa is a generic
driver with limited functions.. Its like running in safe mode. You have
less adjustment and lower resolution. Xorg is showing it as a vesa
driver. which is ok if you dont mind fuzzy and distorted pictures. I
have used ubuntu
some one who knows the difference between vesa and vga needs to look at
this.

Ijust did fix from #27 I still get udev error but keyboard and mouse are
