I have such problem after an upgrade from elder version of XChat.
IRC server I use accepts only "/msg nickserv IDENTIFY password" command.
It seems, that XChat sends "/nickserv IDENTIFY password" to server. If server
doesn't accept this command alias, authentication fails.

I did what you adviced me and i have borders now. Everytime i used
ubuntu, in a desktop effect setting there was "extra" everytime and it
worked, but now i use incompleted Jaunty and after once time update i've
lost my window borders. Thank you very, very much. It was my first

printing documents. sometimes just 1 pages comes out, sometimes more.

More than a month ago, a few weeks after I upgraded to ubuntu hardy,
I've lost my dead-key support. I thought this was due to the beta-
release and it will come back, but now when I tested this on antother
Hardy installation it's working.
This is my input section in xorg.conf

I'm using ubuntu Hardy already for more than 3 months so this bug could
be due to some previous bad updates?
I'm having this problem since about a week before the final release. I

Suspend2ram always worked till this weekend. turning my computer at
sleep works but the laptop hangs after boot-up in a kernel panic. Since

I can confirm that the azureus_2.5.0.0repack1-0ubuntu1.1~proposed1 is
the only working version on gutsy.
I tried java 1.5 java 6 gcj and gij without success. deleting the log
files works almost till you try to open one torrent (double click) and
next startup it crashes again.

The workaround I have is not booting in Xgl but in Xorg. So, when your
computer starts, ctrl + F1, there you have to log in. then type
sudo etc/init.d/gsm.multi-save stop
or sudo killall -9 gdm
then type
startx
But be carefull you start the right x-org session. Disadvantage by not

I have exactly the same problem after upgrading to 0.12.0.
My music map (on ext. HD) is writable only for owner en none for user and
stranger. this always worked till this update.
importing music on /home/user works perfectly, however the permissions
are the same, .. :s

I think I have the same problem.
After suspend2ram (suspend2disk not tested but probably the same)
Networkmanager can only find wired device. I'm able to connect bu typing 'sudo
dhclient' but this isn't working with WEP protection.

Hi Olie, 599 is ok and 600 freeze for me too!
Do you think I can use my pc with kernel 599/freezetest9 or they are not
suitable for production?
P.S. I also tried ubuntu 10 alpha version and it freeze too

Just to let you know, compiling gollage under Ubuntu 9.10 is easy.
I had already some C/C++ compiler plus automake, pkgconfig and stuff like that.
I needed to install:
libmagickcore-dev
libmagickwand-dev
libglade2-dev
And it was enough to compile. Hope this will be the same for others.
