moving from a standard "English" installation to a localized "Italian"

Manuel: I'm not computer expert. However I think that You are describing two
different bugs. The first one is related somehow to gdm and its (missing)
startup. The other one is related to gnome-panel. I suppose the latter should
refers to bug #439448.
Please, no flames on me if I'm wrong ... t
Let me say that the problem vanished after my upgrade to Maverick. My
computer is no more affected by this bug.

Thanks Till K. so far ... but still no help came from HP about the HP -
P10xx devices (at least, no help about my P1005). In the meantime, I
turn to Maverick (leaving Lucid), and nothing happened: the "bug" is
still here.

Help program crashes during its startup. The main windows tries to open,
but after a while it crashes (without displaying nothing).

I reported a similar bug as bug #714886.
I recently upgraded from Lucid to Maverick.
Unfortunately I found that GTHUMB bacame totally UNSTABLE.
Gthumb crashes:
- when resizing group of pictures
- when deleting a picture
- when moving a picture from a folder to another one
- when conv
On June 16, 2010 I "fixed" the bug on my Linux systems by means of
Renzo's PPA.
Yesterday, the problem appeared again on a Maverick fresh installation.
So I should say that (at least) on one of my Linux box I have the
problem again. The Lucid boxes are OK.
