Many thanks. See here new info and comments. 1) The problem reported yesterday happened onto a i386 computer. Today I found again the same crash problem onto a AMD Sempron machine, running the same up-to-date Lucid system.
2) No crash file was generated, nor running gnome-help inside GDB, nor running it alone. I looked for "crash" file everywhere in the filesystem using the "find" command line utility. 3) I run gnome-help from a terminal, and I captured the output: see the attached TXT file. I'm not able to decrypt its meaning, but it seems to be a real BUG. Many thanks again. I hope that these info could help You to fix the problem. Ciao from Italy.
