I have recently been getting a similar message, except that it's b1 not
a0, when recovering from suspend to disk on a Thinkpad Z61M. This is on
Debian Sid (Sidux). It does not occur with Ubuntu 6.10 and I think,
though I'm not sure, that it does not happen if I don't have X running.

Running Hardy now. Rhythmbox still isn't entirely releasing the sound
interface.
I have two audio outputs available on my laptop. One is an external USB
sound device, my prefered audio output. Rhythmbox uses this okay. The
other output is the built in speakers, which I'd rather not use at all.

The uvcvideo module that is in l-u-m is fine and has been working for
awhile. That is the only part of Ubuntu this relates to.

is there any special reason for why you reported this as a bug for
deluge torrent and not gnome-system-tools? the title of your bug report
doesn't seem to match the body
This appears to be very similar to Bug #185589 (at least the title and
initial portions of the report).
For the record, I have experienced this same issue using Xubuntu hardy.
Selecting Applications > System > Users and Groups, and then Selecting
"Unlock" produces the "cannot unlock user&groups: "

Ok, after doing further research, policykit-gnome was not installed on
my xubuntu system. Installing policykit-gnome fixed this problem.
I will report back up through to the Xubuntu team to make sure that
policykit-gnome is included in the xubuntu seeds, as it does not
currently appear to be incl
Lionel, is policykit-gnome included as part of Xubuntu-desktop? It
doesn't appear to be, and without it, items like users & groups,
network, time & date, system services, etc (the primary gnome-utils
under applications > system) do not work.
installing policykit-gnome fixes this problem.

shutting down your LCD screen?

It isn't that the panel crashes (at least not on my computer), it's that
it gets hidden by about 90%. To reproduce:

1. Make a file on your desktop.
2. Left-click with your mouse-button on it, and keep the mouse-button down.
3. Move the mouse in one of the panels.
4. Move the

Downloaded most recent ISO of xubuntu live cd (03/03/08) and this
problem is fixed on the default installation. Thanks. Sorry for any
confusion on this report, it just took some additional research to
verify the current status.

well I don't know what has changed... I had a hard drive failure so had
to reinstall... This time after using the same methods above, iSIght is
working on every boot without issue.
