My wireless interface (eth0) was configured using network-manager, with the
wired interface (eth0) is disabled. But I also get the "no currently active
network device, won't activate VPN" error in syslog whenever I try activating
VPN through network-manager.
A work-around seems to be to renam

The Use XInput option did get the annotation tools working for me also.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get my tablet functions working yet, but

I have the same problem while upgrading Ubuntu to version 7.04 on my
AMD Athlon 64 X 2 Dual Core. I have attached the requested log files.

tried to do one yesterday and all was well.
It defaulted to a full update ( with no message about partial ) and all
completed with no errors.
It looks like this was just a repos update delay issue?

hmmm I think so.
As it seemed to have a problem with "3rd party drivers/apps" I don't know if it
was the nvidia drivers or something else but yes the install seems to be
running fine.
I do wonder though what it was having a problem with as the update manager
seemed to "recommend" to do a parti
