hmmm I think so. As it seemed to have a problem with "3rd party drivers/apps" I don't know if it was the nvidia drivers or something else but yes the install seems to be running fine. I do wonder though what it was having a problem with as the update manager seemed to "recommend" to do a partial update even though a full update did work. I never did a reboot between the failed partial update and the full but I did ignore the dialog box when it told me to do a partial (the second time)
I do see the error reported says that the problem was with openoffice. Is openoffice classified as a "third party"? I guess it could have just been a repository/apt get retrieval issue As I said though the problem seems to have really been a non issue as the computer is running fine.
