I upgraded to 11.10 and the issue has persisted. Is that helpful at all? Do

Also, when I pull the computer out of suspension, I frequently get a
COMRESET FAILED error with varying error numbers. And the digits I was
seeing were [[5^ repeated. I've also discovered that after holding
control and choosing to boot Ubuntu, I can avoid having to restart it if
I press cntrl+alt+f
I don't know which one I need to click on:
amd64 or i386. I'm running a 32 bit system with an AMD Turion Dual-Core RM
75x2 processor.
