Also, when I pull the computer out of suspension, I frequently get a
COMRESET FAILED error with varying error numbers. And the digits I was
seeing were [[5^ repeated. I've also discovered that after holding
control and choosing to boot Ubuntu, I can avoid having to restart it if
I press cntrl+alt+f12, then cntrl+alt+T, then typing start and hitting
"enter" a couple of times immediately after choosing to boot Ubuntu at
the purple screen. Not sure if any of this helps, it's a rather odd bug,
and I'm wondering if I should just reinstall Ubuntu.
