The last comments make me think that lxc-execute works with application
containers. Does it work?
The simplest usage would be (without a created container test):
$ sudo lxc-execute -n test /bin/bash
But due to bug 981955 this does not work. With the workaround there:
$ sudo lxc-execute -n test /bi
This bug is fixed in Vivid. Menus available after child window closed,
no menus in child window.

I am also using the NVIDIA binary driver. I did the upgrade in a
terminal with do-release-upgrade that worked.
The bug is not in update-manager but in the Gtk3 frontend of the command
do-release-upgrade from the source package ubuntu-release-upgrader

In Ubuntu the package name is python3-pyicu. Debian decided to name the
package python3-icu and Ubuntu should do the same (and probably provide

Some file are not streamed, but stored in /tmp/totem-* and played by totem if
fully downloaded. This can take a long time. Please look at /tmp/ directory,
whether there is such a file with increasing size. If so, that's a problem not
related to this bug.
