However, the key thing here was to fix the upgrade scenario from xenial
to bionic. There are considerable changes between 4.4 and 4.8.0 that
would be difficult to unpick all the commits that would reso

Hi Mauricio,
This is one that has always failed due to the way ppc64el infra tests
are happening, and the hostname changes. Typically the hostname
obfuscation would pick it up, but it doesn't due to the fact the
hostname is changing.
This is a known issue, and primarily due to how the hostname ch

The package has come a long way since this release of 4.4, and will need
to right patch set to fix.

The purpose of the python3-boto3 dependency is to be able to upload the
sos to an S3 endpoint. We can have various users whether it's cloud or
non-cloud uploading to an S3 endpoint can still be valid. This was the
reason for having it in Recommends.

All the Openstack tests have also been done by various people in the
team, as per the list of items to be collected we didn't miss anything,
however we found the following 2 issues
* The file /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings.py had 2 keys that
were not being obfuscated, and was then resolve
* sunbeam collection worked as expected and no obfuscation issues
* sos collect for all scenarios listed worked as expected
* juju 2.9 with focal and jammy using juju plugin
* juju 3 with focal jammy and noble all worked as expected using the ssh
plugin

all looks good, barring the following 2 issues
* kern.log, syslog and auth.log are not being collected, but this is the same
in the previous version. However, a prior version of sos was collecting this,
and we should get this
sos clean was done on all platforms, and worked as expected except for
one item
* Although the username is obfuscated in all places, the home directory
in logs is not obfuscated. Will will be worked on in a new issue soon,
as this issue was still in the prior revision this is not a regression.

When doing SRU for sos 4.8.2 we encountered obfuscation issues, although
not a regression at the time, it was still an issue that had been
present for a while
1. So, these passwords would be fully visible to the end support personnel
and therefor
questing is fixed in latest package
