today I made the following: uninstalled all pulseaudio packages and
install some alsa mixer - and voilla' - all works, there's sound output.
Then I've reinstalled back the pulseaudio staff - and again got nothing
to hear(

Well with the last update (pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test4-0ubuntu1) I get
almost the same results. Only VLC having sound (ALSA is the default). I
saw that I also have No recording. When playing music with Rhythmbox
can't hear anything as before but what is worse - the pulseaudio volume
mixer is decreasi
