Well with the last update (pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test4-0ubuntu1) I get almost the same results. Only VLC having sound (ALSA is the default). I saw that I also have No recording. When playing music with Rhythmbox can't hear anything as before but what is worse - the pulseaudio volume mixer is decreasing (!) the volume by itself.
