Joseph Salisbury, please be careful with these scripts. A user mentioned
he observed the issue on 12.04 - that *is* still supported. IMHO it
should only be marked "Won't Fix" for releases that are EOL.

I have observed this problem as well, using 13.04 x86_64,
3.6.1-0ubuntu1. My scanner is a HP Photosmart Premium c309a, connected
via the network.
When scanning multiple pages, the scanner will not eject the last page
and waits for additional pages to be fed. It seems it's not able to

On a side note, when using nmcli I see all the connections, and can also
establish/unestablish them. So I assume it is definitely a problem with
nm-applet and not NetworkManager itself.
This is a really annoying problem for those affected - what can we do to
help you reproduce/diagnose/fix it?

In order to get a working system again, I had to circumvent the package
update by backing up /etc/iscsi, removing it, purging the package, and
reinstalling the package, afterwards restoring the config.

I have a Synology DS1512+ NAS and use that as an iSCSI target.
The iscsi volume is used as a physical volume for LVM.
LVM logical volumes are mounted on the host.
Inside one of the volumes, which is mounted on /srv/vm, I have VM images which
are used by qemu-kvm.

I think it's a very bad idea to try to stop all targets while LVM still uses
them, and services depend on the LVM LVs ...

The warning in README.Debian is nice, but doesn't really address the
problem.

Bug
Thanks for your hint, I didn't see that button "Routes" ;)
In the English version this setting can be found in NM under
Network Connections -> VPN -> Edit (your connection) -> IPv4 Settings
tab -> Routes (lower right corner) and is labeled "Use this connection
only for resources on its network".
BTW, the German translation doesn't make sense at all.
A more correct translation would be "Nur fuer Routen dieser Verbindung
verwenden".
Quelle is source (eg water..., sink/source, ...), resource = Ressource,
but in this case we're talking about routes, so let's not confuse ppl
unnecessarily...
