Whenever a sound needs to be played the screen blanks out for a second,
then the screen comes back on, and the sound plays.
Examples of sounds are when I press Tab on the terminal, and there are
no possible completions, or when I press the down button on the
terminal, and the
after.txt attached here

Whenever any sound needs to start playing, the screen goes blank. Even
when I play a video I paused a few moments earlier on YouTube, the
screen goes blank, and then it comes back on, with the audio and video
both working perfectly.

feature, and it looks nothing like the error I was encountering.
I also noticed a new thing. After I last messaged you, I put my laptop
into sleep mode. Now when I opened the computer, I find that I can't

So, when I clicked the 'Test' button the first time, it blanked for a
longer time before coming back on, but after that, it flickered very
shortly.
Also, assuming that the problem is related to this feature, I think that
then it would blank out every time any alerts came in. However, it
blanks out
