Public bug reported:
I wanted to boot to Ubuntu but it just keep throwing up ACPI error and
then goes to the next page which is blank with a blinking cursor and it
never load to Ubuntu Desktop. So I can't get into my system at the
moment. There are pictures available.
ACPI Error: Aborting method
1. Boot normally so you hit the black screen
2. Reboot and use "with online help using Esc key on bootup" (i.e. using
"nomodeset" or comptibility mode)
3. Run: journalctl -b -1 > prevboot.txt
4. Attach the prevboot.txt
Also, have you tried booting any older kernels like 6.8.0-51 or 6.8.0-50
?

We should be able to get the website updated for development releases

it if we ever need that.
