The problem is, pyhoca-cli relates to python 3.11 and this is not available
anymore in ubuntu 24.04, so when i switched from debian to ubuntu i lost my

This much I've been able to ascertain:

It certainly seems as though gnome-terminal needs to be seeded higher in
order to fix the x-terminal-emulator requirement as it's not finding
gnome
The PC I am using can also multi-boot ubuntu-22.04 and ubuntu-20.04.
There is no problem with ubuntu-20.04, but I can log in with ubuntu-22.04,
but the behavior is strange.See bug/2067147.
Please also fix the ubuntu-22.04.5 kernel.
I will provide the information necessary for correction.

The solution for hazy fonts is, starting Gnome 47:

etc) with online help using Esc key on bootup. But the bug persis

reason, but with nvidia NVIDIA-SMI 570.86.16 and kernel

Testing 6.8.0-53-generic (noble-proposed) on a Thinkpad t490s running Cinnamon
desktop causes X11 session crash when 'cheese' and 'gnome-sound-recorder'
programs started. Similarly, they do not appear within firefox and so-forth!.

As Christian pointed out, now that systemd >= 257-2ubuntu1 is in plucky
images, this has gone away. I can't repro anymore.
I did also try upgrades to plucky from oracular (after installing
nginx), and cannot repro. It's possible this was fixed in systemd 257.1
or 257.2, but nothing immediately jum
