Ubuntu 24.04.01 LTS updated today using "software updater". Since the
update the PC just boots to a black screen. It worked fine before the
software updates. I have managed to get a usable screen (but wrong size
etc) with online help using Esc key on bootup. But the bug persists when
the PC is restarted. I have an NVIDIA GT218 graphics card and Ubuntu
tells me that "all available drivers are already installed".
