The kernel maintainers have been helpful but prefer NULL checking to be done in
the drivers, not in the kernel. I've explored further with some test builds
and it turns out the NULL is actually on the dev config interfaces (usb.c:281
current line). During initialization the Logit

Another 20.10 Groovy user here who had to update from 20.04.1LTS to
20.10 because my soundcard stopped working. Well, the sound card works
now, but I get those same exact SSSD errors and I think the whole thing
was installed upon update -- at least I didn't get those errors on my
20.04.1LTS.
Removing gnuradio fixed it.

Same again,when I updated my Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, sometimes when I switch
on my PC, I lose one of my outputs of audio. For example, I switch on
the PC and the HDMI DisplayPort2 GP102 Audio Contoller doesn't appear in

In my particular case, my motherboard is EFI but can boot legacy or MBR.
I built it in 2013. Its an Asus Z77 and at this time has 7 SSD's for

When the "export" file dialog is shown (after pressing the "Export"
button), it disappears suddenly after a few seconds, without user
intervention.
HOW TO REPRODUCE IT:
- Launch gnome-sound-recorder
- Record some sound
- Press the STOP button to end recording
- Press the "OK

This affects me too on Asus z97P, since at least ubuntu 13.10 (when I bought
this system). I sometimes hear fans not spin down after booting, and have been
"rebooting until success" for the last 7 years... lucky it isnt too often I get
the wrong order, maybe once in 10 boots or so. Since adding
