to few days ago and the issue was already there.

I tried to check if other Distributions silently implemented this
without pushing/discussing upstream but e.g. on Fedora this has in
/usr/lib/systemd/system/nfs-server.service just:
ExecStart=/usr/sbin/rpc.nfsd
And no EnvironmentFile statement at all.
But that doesn't mean there is no arguments
After confirming the issue and checking some of the code/background.
The .default file is part of the Debian packaging and there is no e.g. example
file provided by upstream source to copy from. So it seems to me packaging and
upstream got out of sync on this.

I've just used the 20.04.1 installer. Connected to the internet during
installation, chose full installation, upgrade during installation and
third-party drivers. I'm on an old intel and Nvidia, 650 TI as far as I

I cannot scan with Document Scanner on Ubuntu 20.04.1 with my HP Color LaserJet
CM2320fxi MFP. It worked fine on Ubuntu 18.04.
I get the error "Failed to scan. Unable to connect to scanner".

by vnc4server. On Ubuntu xenial, this causes xfce4-notifyd to fail to
start up.
