command. Then I put the line:
"auth sufficient pam_fprintd.so" in the /etc/pam.d/polkit-1" file to

After a restart from Windows the problem is persistent. It may take a
complete shutdown, maybe a couple for restarts from Ubuntu back to
Ubuntu before it stops.

My Ubuntu 20.04 installation just did this - something changed the
org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen to true and also the
blank screen to never (did an update do this?).

should have been fixed with the latest snapd package that is currently
in proposed repo, however it seems that the new snapd build did not fix
