@Sebastien Thank you for that info. Now I will know where to look when playing with extensions in future. I was looking in the wrong place for the defect. The issue is not in the extension it's in the gnome-control-center. I'll keep playing around. I've been using Linux for many years but I develop Windows software for a living. This might be a good little side project for me to start playing with Linux application development.
