Because the Wily amd64 package works on my Xenial amd64 machine, I'd
assume that it would be as simple as copy-pasting the Wily packages to
the Xenial packages. I've attached a renamed copy of the amd64 package
download as a solution/patch, maybe that'll help show that it's an easy
fix.

Maybe you need casper 1.379, which is avaiable in Yakkety, while casper
1.376.1 in Xenial is a different version, which might or might not work
correctly.
I think casper 1.376.1 is available via xenial-proposed. If you get it
via the daily iso file, fine :-)
