I have the same issue on current (16.04 amd64) installer on latest
stable VirtualBox (5.0.20) on Windows 10 64 Bit (current stable Win10).
Enabling EFI (EFI, Special on OSs only in Machine settings) Virtual Box
and setting up a 8 GB Dynamically Allocated disk triggered the issue.

osmesa without using the shared glapi. I have seen similar errors using
libosmesa6 10.1.3-0ubuntu0.6, when a program is linked with both libGL

I've been suspending and restoring the session and not being to

Could you please give it a try? I believe it may fix this issue, and if
tested successfully, I will release it as a regression update.
