is used:
- no problem with duckduckgo
- no problem with 'ssllabs.com' (http://www. auto-completion works)

I've used adb shell and run top for a base case of no apps loaded (and

Installed gnome-session-wayland after successfully using the normal
gnome-session and tried to start nautilus after logging in.

Most KDE applications freeze for 30 seconds when you start them. It is not only
kate or okular. It is dophin and many others.
This happens on my desktop system on which I have a Nvidia Quatro 620
semi professional video card.

Problem with the bug is the unspecificity (is that a word?).
The problem is Nvidia and Nouveau. I solved it, as recommended, by using the
proprietary driver.
Guess what? If it were not freezing up, I would go back to Nouveau. Flash (OK,
time to ditch that!) and Vimeo malfunction or do not work at

For users that still get a blackscreen on startup, try disable the
bootsplash screen. That fixed it for me. Boot into recovery, remount
your disk to be able to write to it. Remove 'splash' from the command
line in /etc/default/grub and do an update-grub. After the next reboot,

I installed kubuntu-desktop to check out the state of KDE. Finding much lack of
polish, I came back to unity, only to find that:
a) all of my fonts had been changed
b) desktop shortcuts didn't work

Mobac often freezes when it searches the directories to load a GPX file. This
also happens when testing the latest version of Mobac loaded online. I just
installed 15.10. It is no longer possible to close the search window GPX file
or MOBAC
