In Ubuntu 15.10 /etc/default/grub.d/dmraid2mdadm.cfg now contains the
following code:

*$DMRAID2MDADM_TOAPPEND*)

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="$GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
$DMRAID2MDADM_TOAPPEND"
;;
esac
that prevents the options "nomdmonddf nomdmonisw" to be added several
times.
