Hi Alberts,
Good work! I was also able to connect and logout multiple times after
restarting xrdp (sudo service xrdp restart).
All the processes end properly and the rdp window closes.
Now if we can just figure out what is different after restarting xrdp
compared to how it is after system boot..
Worked out how to do the install. Still no change says printer needs a
firmware update and wont print.
Think it would be easier just to buy a wireless print server. All I want
to do is to print to a printer on my Ubuntu desktop from my Windows 7
PC. And no, Samba does not want to play ball.

It turns out the underlying cause of this was that the indicator was
going into an infinite loop and then terminating. The notification
service then doesn't track its clients well (at all) and doesn't clear
up the fullscreen notification when the indicator dies.
So far we have a fix for the infini

"Connection Established" by the commit below. This issue no longer

has been terminated, and while processing it we call log_io_reader and

So one thing which I still cannot track down is how is that unidentified
log_io_reader called. Or who is calling it.
I have put traces to log_read_watch under condition "if (io->recv_buf->len) {"
where we call "log_io_reader" but call is not coming from there.
So what are other options for log_io

If I try to open my mindmaps, freemind tells me that there was created
with an oldder version and ask me to convert them to new. If I choose
yes the maps becomes garbage. That happens to every of them. I will
attatch you one of my maps for testing them.

I got ginn to work by disabling Unity multi-touch gestures. This
involved recompiling Unity following the guide here:

which has been initialised by "nih_io_reopen"

I managed to get backtraces out of Konsole & Plasma, excuse the poor
quality of them as I only remembered to log output after I started gdb.
In all 3 cases they're now crashing in QScreen::handle() with
(this=this@entry=0x0) .
