Public bug reported:
Acetoneiso fails to convert flv to avi, reports that mencoder is
missing.
"Unable to find mencoder in /usr/bin.
Please install it and be sure it's linked to /usr/bin folder."
Steps to reproduce:
1-Open Acetoneiso
2-Select Video-Convert FLV 2 AVI
You will get the error about missing mencoder.
Attempting to install mencoder reports the following:
"Package mencoder is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'mencoder' has no installation candidate"
