The problem here is that "gksudo hp-setup -i" (or "gksudo hp-setup" in
case of Qt4 not installed) does not work. The user has to run "hp-setup

I have also been unable to figure out what logs to post, but the system
appears to boot normally with no video output.

In Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 (2013.10.17), upon installing Ubuntu SDK I get an
error, that I need to mount the Ubuntu CD in /media/cdrom, while if I
insert the CD, it is mounted under /media/usr. You have 2 choices:
Continue or Cancel. Both end up in a loop, where the same dialog

As I said in title I have problems with saving settings in nvidia-
settings dialog. I can change resolution and refresh rate with no
problem but when I restart computer those settings revert to default
values. Of course, I press 'Save to X Configuration File' button.

Ah sorry, I had updated to the latest OVS version from saucy by enabling
the saucy repos and just updating relevant libvirt and OVS packages.
The show command I included was run on 1.9 after I downgraded again to
get printing working (printers found via mDNS)
I've looked at the packets on the raw
I upgraded my Ubuntu installations to ArchLinux, and my problems are
gone :-)

Thank you for the information. HPLIP-3.13.9 release has fix for "hp-
setup -i" is looking for Password dialog instead of interactive mode.
3.13.9 release contains both "hp-setup changing to interactive mode" and
"password in text console" of your suggestion.

Clicking on Start Screen Saver does not result in the screen being blanked/lock.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the 13.10 LiveCD.
2. After unity has started click the cog at the top right and click Start
