I'm actually using one of the new default wallpapers now, so it should be
/usr/share/backgrounds.
Unity greater only displays the default wallpaper for 13.04, for whatever
reason it isn't updating to the one I've chosen.

discrete AMD graphics card for intense application and then back to the

Turns out to be a racing problem when we re-focus the dash when its
first focused. The X event buffer needs to be flushed other wise the
XSetInputFocus will come through a bit late causing the dash to be re-
focused after its closed.

I just tested libxrandr 2:1.3.2-2ubuntu0.1 from the proposed
repo...nothing changed for me. But I think it's worth to mention, that I
seem to suffer from a slighly different Bug (just realised it myself).
Even when I log in locally on the machine, my kwin crashes.
Was the modified libxrandr2
I had a second freeze today. Now without power supply. In this situation the
system did not reboot after 10 minutes. So I had a hard shut-down.
It seems to me, that for my system kernel version 3.8.3 is more unstable as
version 3.8.2.

I seem to be seeing a very similar issue on 12.04LTS after taking the
latest update (everything was fine before that). I was getting
graphical corruption, the apport-gpu-error-intel.py crash report, and
the machine would hang.

VLC appears twice in the launcher (see screenshot) when opening a mkv
file with VLC. This happens around every tenth time.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open nautilus
2) Open a video (e.g. mkv file) with vlc
3) Close the video
Repeat step two until you experience the bug.

Testing ISO for Xubuntu 13.04. Installed today fresh, going through test
scenarios on a laptop (IBM T60). When I closed the lid to sleep the
computer, it comes back wanting a password when I open the lid. However,
it will not accept the correct password.
