added and there was no change in the behavior befor and after my patch.
There is no particular reason for adding my patch at the head of the
series other than using 'quilt new x' which put it on top.

I agree with Paul, I do not understand why this still has not been
fixed.
Multiple screen support worked in Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10, and does not now work
in Ubuntu 11.xx or Ubuntu 12.xx
(I am currently on Ubuntu 12.10, would have prefered to stay on 12.04 LTS, but
other issues with 12.04.1
Upstream bug is marked fixed, but one part of the problem still exists
in 0.2.4 on Precise.

Sorry for the late reply as I had a busy week. I had a gstreamer update
tonight but I'm not able to test yet (have to sleep), so I will test it
again later and see how it goes. I believe it might be Pulseaudio related
in VLC's case for sure. It seems to also occur with Firefox when playing
youtube

org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.Enable() and
org.freedesktop.Accounts.User.SetAutomaticLogin(). But your example
