Public bug reported:
Installing thinkfan on a thinkpad still (updated 12.10, 20Dec2012) doesn't make
it work (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thinkfan/+bug/787031).
However, I think i've gone through the necessary extra steps that are supposed
to (and used to) make it work.
But now,
First, I am running Ubuntu Server, so no GUI.
I updated to new kernel.
Samba4 was installed.
Received the "setoption.pl is not executable" error.
Removed samba4.
Installed samba (apt-get install samba)
When I issue "samba" in terminal, it returns: Samba is not installed,
run "apt-get install
So I confirm this bug, because the fix says that it is a reproduceable
bug.
