Hi ! It seems the bug is partly fixed.
In my case : Ubuntu 12.10, Nvidia proprietary drivers, up to date, when
I open a fullscreen app on the second monitor, Unity dock & top bar do
disappear, but they re-appear as soon as I click on something on the
primary monitor.

Lucid to Precise: must Conflicts and Provides/Break older wi

RECOMMENDs upstart, the location of /sbin/runlevel.
This bug wouldn't affect many people except those who are pedantic
enough to try to run a minimal system by manually rejecting the

I gave up trying to get the NM applet to work by using pkill nm-applet
&& nm-applet &
I mean, it works, but since I have to be in a terminal window to run
pkill anyway, it is just easier for me to use one command to connect to

BTW, I noticed the top bar only appears when there's another app open on
the main screen, otherwise it's properly hidden on the second one.
Actually, It seems there are all kinds of issues with dual-screen. For
instance : the height of windows opened on the main screen corresponds
to the max heigh
I currently use 10.04LTS on that system and since LTS support is only 3
years I would assume you can close this bug.

If that is the case for you (for me it reproduces it every 4-5 runs or so),
there are two options:
1) put while(true) loop around the rpmbuild and you will hit it always, or
2) I can wrap up a bit bigger cmake usecase that systematically hits it. Warn
you though, size will jump to 200M.
