invoke-rc.d is in sysv-rc and sysv-rc DEPENDs on sysvinit-utils which RECOMMENDs upstart, the location of /sbin/runlevel.
This bug wouldn't affect many people except those who are pedantic enough to try to run a minimal system by manually rejecting the installation of any RECOMMENDed packages. Still, even those pedants (like me) shouldn't have to deal with this. ** Changed in: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224477 Title: /usr/sbin/invoke-rc.d calls /sbin/runlevel without DEPENDSing sysvinit or upstart-compat-sysv To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sysvinit/+bug/224477/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
