I have been able to isolate my "fallen off the bus" errors, and their
related X lockups to only Ubuntu (not 2D but "3D") sessions. I have
enabled persistence mode on the Nvidia drivers, and am running 295.49.
Any ideas on why this only occurs in non-2D sessions? Compiz? The

I am experiencing the same behaviour as wczimmerman described under
Ubuntu 12.04. My printer is dot matrix printer (POS printer) Star SP742.
If I am trying to print through /dev/parport0 printer is fast and works
without any hassles. Otherwise through /dev/lp0 it's very slow and not
smooth.

Under CentOS 6.3 printer works well and printing is smooth. Another

I went to ctrl alt f2 and did test and works with and without nupad
then went back to ctrl alt f7 and gnome had crash
since ive deleted f3-f7 terminals i went to f3 and got login
opened FF and found that going to f2 crashed gnome and FF didnt finished
writing something to session.

i have 10.04 therefore i dont have 3.3.3 untill will it be ported.

disconnected all the time although it is hard to pinpoint when it

What I expect:
evoking x2x to control a remote Xserver via SSH with my local keyboard/mouse

What happens:
I am promted for the password correctley, than however i get the following error

phill, that's what i was sort of suggesting. if you have the system
installed, as long as you can access the drive in some way or another
(heck, use another distro if you have to! [you don't but finnix works
quick and easy for recovery purposes]) you should be able to get to the
logs.
