the repos. Same for Gnome and Gnome Classic, except the without effect,
like Unity 2D. When I log with Ubuntu 2D (Unity 2D) or Gnome Classic
(without effect) games runs well and the test

Yup I tried it again and it shutdown again after like 6 or 7 minutes of
watching 4 different streams in 4 different workspaces.

I also get this bug on a newly installed 12.4 with Seagate ST2000DM001
drives. Reported misalignment is 3072 bytes. Both drives work and pass
all diagnostics, but average seek time is 14.2 to 14.4 ms.

odd IO/load
I did a fresh lvm+encrypt install of ubuntu 12.04 using alternate
amd64+mac iso and I saw same error.
I followed the suggestion from comment #24 and just copied the *.pf2 files from
/usr/share/grub/ to /boot/grub
and updated the grub. Now I do not see that error message anymore.
