Hello All,
I helped testing Precise during all the development phase and I must say it
loud : it really smooth, ractive, fast. I really enjoyed using Precise when on
alpha / Beta Cycle.
But once Precise Final was out , it was another world, another reallity. I

I'm getting the same behaviour. I'm running Win7 Professional 64-bit as host
and Ubuntu 12.04 as guest.
Seamless mode works fine for me with Ubuntu 11.10 (Unity) as guest but the host
desktop is obscured by the guest Desktop background when using Ubuntu 12.04
with Unity as the guest.

I promised you that I will let you know my experience when I install a
separate graphic card.
I plugged in a ATI HD5770 PCIe card into my machine and after struggling with
the installation of the AMD drivers, I finally succeeded to install the drivers
on ubuntu 12.04 64bit kernel 3.2 as show in
tested Kernel 3.5 RC1. It is the same with respect to this issue.

support? It's a widely used language, certainly more widely-used than

This is not supported because there isn't any policykit agent in the
terminal session available. You could adjust the privileges in the
policykit configuration to all
Ok, my XFCE at home freezes too. But at the office with exactly the same
hardware it doesn't freeze. And the difference is that the one that
doesn't freeze was a clean Xubuntu 12.04 install while the one that
freezes was a regular Ubuntu upgrade from Oneiric.

When I convert from PDF to HTMLZ, then modify/save anyway the index.html file
inside HTMLZ, next convertion from HTMLZ to EPUB fails.
If I let untouched the HTMLZ file (even making an unzip + zip action) the
conversion makes no error.

Yes, this is the whole problem. but maybe we can at least show a
message indicating this issue or find some other solution, because
this behaviour is highly confusing for new users.
I'll need to find out if something in this direction can be done :-)

It looks like it was the installation of -backports fixed it. These
drivers should be available in Ubuntu 12.04, and probably in previous
version (Ubuntu 11.10) as well. Closing this bug. Please reopen (or
