First I used Jockey to install fglrx updates, and it failed. Then fglrx
and it failed. I then had to use synaptic to completly remove both, but
fglrx failed to remove all the way. It didn't matter much, as I was able
to get fglrx to install via synaptic. Don't know what else t

I realize in my case it is a case of the primary dns not wanting to
give up mac address lease of machine. If the maas could initiate a
clean lease with dns at middle to end of available ip addresses it would

/dev/shm is a tmpfs, and tmpfs in the kernel has a default mode of
01777. I don't see how this could be happening without a) an /etc/fstab
entry overriding the /lib/init/fstab entry, or b) a rogue local script
running at start-up that's changing the mode.

It is probably true that this has not been seen much as a bug due to DNS
normally being available, hence NIS dependency (if present) being a
secondary issue. However, we found that ntp did not recover by itself,

Way to reproduce:
1. Open a new text document.
2. Write down "test".
3. Check word counter - one word, four characters, OK.
4. Turn on numbering.
5. Write another word.
6. Check word counter - the number

When I connect my ipod to Rhthymbox, and try to add podcasts, I always
end up with multiple copies of said podcast, and if I remove one from
the ipod, I seem to remove them all. Sometimes also after I remove the
podcast from my ipod, Rhtymbox crashes, and I have to restart it.
