- when login is frozen (one can switch selected user with arrows up and down,
but can not type or login as any)
- hit ctrl + alt + F7 to get back to user1's session. then switch user from
there.

passed directly from memory to xkbcomp.
Btw, if you want to experiment more directly, you can snag

Unfortunately both xkm files are useless - they contain single us group

Perhaps my explanation was not clear. The "Passphrase" option for setting

wireless key is broken. The hex option still works. This has happened on a

precise:
ii upstart1.5-0ubuntu7 event-based init daemon
...and still see this issue if there's an invalid network interface
specified in /etc/network/interfaces using "auto".

Hi all,
I had the same issue with my UX21E, I updated the kernel as suggested i this
bug but the problem still occurs.

I've found another workaround.
'compiz --replace' seems to solve the problem (till the next restart), but it's
still annoying to do this after each start.
