The solution here seems to be to only apply dithering to the two
blueish-areas where the 8-bit colour banding is most apparent, these are
the top left and middle bottom. This avoids applying noise to the whole
image, whilst still solving the visible problem.

I have actually replaced my WiFi card in my laptop (so that I could get
802.11a support), and have not had the problem with the new card, but

I don't know if this will work for all printers but after doing some
research I changed the following in the /etc/libreoffice/psprint.conf
file. PSLevel from 0 to 2 and it is now working correctly for me. It
sends 1 print job and prints it x times.

I am currently unable to test if the bug still exists on the latest
Ubuntu release, however if no attempt was made to fix the bug I think it
would be correct to assume that the bug is still present until it is

and I've noticed that the same problem randomly still occurs, more
specifically using the SD card of my android phone mounted as USB mass
