1) Open LibreOffice, type something, and save it.
2) Open GEdit Text Editor, type something, and save it.
3) In a terminal, run "sync". The previously-saved versions are now on disk.
4) Change the LibreOffice document and save again.

not our fault nvidia won't support randr fully.
I can still connect an old scanner from 2003 and Ubuntu works with it
