The fact that disconnecting the webcam solves the problem leads me to

This bug also affects me. I am running 11.10 x86_64 with integrated
Intel Core i7 HD graphics. All windows decoration will more often than

Simplescan is pretty cool. However, with my scanner, after scanning a
few pages, it starts adding a large grey block from the center of the
page to the right hand margin in additional scans. This is in text mode,
in photo-scanning mode, it does the same, but with a magenta lik
