Public bug reported:

Precise i386 testing

This error is logged each time at boot time:
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:127: RuntimeWarning:
PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK
  set_interactive(1)

Similar bug #526676 have been reported. Tried to strace that issue, but:

oem@oem-desktop:~$ strace -o /tmp/python-gtk2.debug python-gtk2
strace: python-gtk2: command not found

So i'm joining: oem@oem-desktop:~$ strace -o /tmp/python.debug python
which reveal lot of "no such file or directory" warnings.
