I tried turning detect frame rate off and setting the frame rate
manually to 120 (my monitors both report 59.9 or 60 Hz refresh), but it
hasn't helped. Sync to VBlank doesn't help the glxspheres framerate
either. It really is most odd, because up until yesterday it would quite
happily run at 59.x f

I must admit than after almost two month of use, this new design is an
ergonomic catastrophe. I loose a lot of time two unhide the launcher
every time. And if I reduce the amount of time for the launcher to
appear, it appear too fast when mouse is on the left to, for example,
click the left buttons

I've temporarily fixed it based on Conor Curran's fix, here's what I
did:

When you start the Workspace Switcher (Super+S) the desktop background
is still visible under the panel (but not the launcher). I suspect
that's the same bug as this one.

I believe tzdata is the correct package for the DST adjustment issue.

way: the whole screen is visible and the mouse pointer moves, for

I am running linux mint 11 and also have this problem. I'm fairly certain the
problem is that the opacify settings aren't applied ot new windows. If you turn
opacify on and off, it works, but when you open a new window, opacify only
works for the previously opened windows, not the new one.

After running a system for a while I find this symptom has disappeared.
I assume that either the bug has been fixed or another app has dealt
with the situation more intelligently and the file has been created

On a Dell latitude E6220, no network interface is found in ubuntu 10.04.3.
for an LTS, this is pretty serious.
No broadcom drivers in repositories either.
in Maverick, cabled network does show up, but the wireless card is not
found

The problem here is that according to BIOS, you don't have an internal mic on
your internal sound card. It might be that the microphone is connected to the
webcam in this case, looking at the way things are presented here:

shows the old (larger) for the partition. Pvdisplay on the CLI shows the
correct size. I expect the physical volume to show it's real size

I'm pretty happy with this code - we've run it in production with large
cluster (4,200 apache processes, 18 separate cache servers) and tested
server death. Works nicely.

Anyway - after restart I was able to login to KDE and it offered me to update
samba and wine.
After that update everything seems fine (not yet tested the samba as not at
home)
