with bibus from Natty (since Oneiric version has a dependency issue,

save it I would get a message from LibreOffice saying "The file has been

I did another test that might be relevant:
I ran Libreoffice with gnome environment:
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome oowriter
So I did not see the kde integration. However, when selecting
OpenOffice.org > Finalize in Bibus it starts finalization, proceeds a
little further than before and then freezes. L

right. If I either disable my nfs mount in fstab, meaning it never
mounts the nfs share, or I unmount it before shutting down, then all
works perfectly. The moment my machine has a live nfs mount at shutdown
time, it gets no fur
In a case such as Sergey's, where the problem is caused by a faulty vfat
rather than some weirdness on Ubuntu's side, formatting the disk may be
avoided by using fsck:

I have the same basic problem, but the patch given doesn't do anything.
Trying installing upstart 1.6.7, no better. init is always at 100% cpu.
